Partying two nights in a row, and I'm still up for more. Last night we went club hopping and ended up at the Ministry of Sound (MOS) by Clarke Quay. It's been a while (and by 'a while' I mean 'never') since I've been out clubbing until 4am. Clubbing, as I've always known, is not my scene, but I'd be happy to do it again. I now understand the allure.
Tonight, we went for dinner at an outdoor food stand in Chinatown (Smith Street). It was good to meet more INSEAD people as they really start to pour into Singapore. Afterwards, 7 out of 12 of us went on for drinks by Boat Quay. When the bar started to close, 3 out of 7 of us (the real troopers) walked along the water past the Fullerton hotel, past IndoChine, past SCC, and ended up on the 70th floor of the SwissHotel tower. The good news is that the 'New Asia' club on the 70th floor is amazing. The bad news is our target destination was the Raffles. In any case, I ended up dancing to music that alternated between 80s, 90s, and Indian.
