Back in the states after a good length of time abroad. There is certainly a level of reverse culture shock I'm experiencing. First and foremost, the food portions in the states are MASSIVE. I ordered a rib-eye steak in Los Angeles my first night and had to take most of it home. Without exaggeration, the steak would have been for 3 in Europe. I spent the rest of that evening in the bathroom. It was my body's way of telling me: You must be crazy if you think I'm processing all of this junk.
On a positive note, my doctor tells me today after my physical that she sees no reason why I shouldn't live for a million years. Woohoo!
