Declaration of Independence?

On this Fourth of July, I made my non-refundable deposit to secure my place at INSEAD. Interestingly enough, today is also the day when my annual bonus gets deposited into my bank account and new professional responsibilities bestowed upon me. Can I, as a leader, walk away from the people that have been entrusted into my care? Can I walk away from some of the most talented individuals I have had the privilege to work with? An MBA experience should be so much more, but how does one measure it's true rate-of-return?
